Non-psychoactive medicinal mushrooms have garnered increasing attention for their potential to support mental health and reduce neuroinflammation. Compounds found in these mushrooms, such as polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and antioxidants, possess anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. By modulating the immune system and promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, these mushrooms can indirectly influence brain health. Additionally, some varieties like lion's mane contain hericenones and erinacines, which stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF) production, potentially enhancing cognitive function and mood regulation. Consuming these mushrooms regularly may contribute to a balanced inflammatory response, improved stress resilience, and overall mental well-being without inducing psychoactive effects.
The majority of what we use is fruiting body. We implement mushroom polysaccharides, stem cells, and extracts for precision and potency. These ingredients are only able to be derived in clinical strength from the fruiting body itself, not the mycelium.
Not at this time. Sessions are currently booked a la carte only. Check back with us periodically for updates, as we do have some plans in the works.
Your genomic assessment session will be most effective when you have a copy of your genome to upload into ours or the lab's software. You have access to a copy of your genome if you have:
Taken an ancestry.com test
Taken a 23&me test
Taken a Nebula Genomics test
In order to retrieve the file that contains the information that we need, you must request it from the site you initially tested through. Each site has a different process to gain access to your information, but it is simple, free, and quick to do so.
We do not require you to have your genomic information in order to book an assessment, however, please be advised that we strongly recommend that you do in order to give you the most accurate and effective performance strategy possible.
Myco Medic products have a unique mechanism of action. They work by activating three different systems in the body to achieve fast, lasting results.
Step 1 - the physical drivers. The bases are made using 3 powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic herbs: arnica, white willow bark, and devil’s claw. These herbs are put through a proprietary dual extraction process to yield maximum strength results. This is the foundation of the formulation. In the lotion, the infusion happens in the oil. In the liniment, the infusion happens in the witch hazel.
Step 2 - the neuroscience. Camphor and menthol are both powerful topical analgesics, and they also offer another benefit - pain signal redirection. The cooling and tingling effect that results from the application of these substances distracts the brain from the pain, which helps to relax the muscles and allow the first step to penetrate deeper and work faster.
Step 3 - the psychology. Once steps 1 and 2 are active, and the relief is noticeable, your brain kicks in and reinforces the result. The sense of relief from lowered pain levels causes the nervous system to relax, which lowers tension and inflammation systemically.
Analgesics + Redirect + Biology of Belief = Magic.
